    Phil the ALIEN Is Destined For CULT Greatness!

    In its own sick little funny way, this 85 minute movie managed to mesmerize me for almost an hour before I had to take a break, but, that actually says quite a bit for a small independent Canadian Film maker named Rob Stefaniuk. This brilliant young man actually wrote, directed, produced, and starred in this "Men in Black meets Austin Powers" Comedy. It's totally irreverent in places but that's what makes it so incomprehensibly hilarious. PHIL THE ALIEN is a hilarious Canadian comedy about an alien (played by Rob Stefaniuk) that crash lands on Earth, gets drunk, befriends a talking beaver, joins a band, becomes the messiah, is hunted by assassins in pimpin' fur coats, and goes on a killing spree.     A True Canadian Classic

    A True Canadian Comedy Classic. Why do I have to write a review that has at least one hundred characters? I don't want to spoil the movie. Maybe if I just say it again, "A True Canadian Comedy Classic" that should be at least one hundred characters.

    Too funny!

    I rented this movie when a vacation I was on didn't go as expected and I needed a laugh. This movie gave it. It's ridiculous and absurd, but in a more "British" kind of way (like Don of the Dead). It will keep you laughing, I guarantee it.
