I tried another heater and it was very noisy, this unit is very quiet and heats well, fan blows heat well although with less power, it is nice to have high and low speed. All in all this is a very nice unit.

TPI Corp heater
The fan doesn't blow much air, so it's not usful for a good sized area. 2ft in front of the heater and you can't feel hardly any air movement or warmth. In a small, confined space, it might do well. But I don't have that. It seems like it's got quality built into it.

Good Dependable Heater
I have used one of these heaters for years and they work great. We also use two of them to heat a large room at my church and have never had any problems with them. The dual wattage control is a nice feature as well. The only complaint that I have is that the thermostat is not sensitive enough for a more precise temperature. Maybe a digital thermostat could improve this issue, and because of that, I gave it four stars.I have used one of these heaters for years and they work great. Good value, but inspect carefully after unpacking, before plugging in.
Bought this to heat up my office above my garage..... In Michigan... In winter... Works great.. after I fixed it. The fan motor wasn't tightened to the cross bar that supports it. The motor was hanging at an angle great enough that the fan was hitting the housing when it was running. Removed 12 screws (front, back and motor support), removed 2 wire ties, tightened up the 5/16" nuts that hold the motor housing to the support bar, 2 new wire ties, put all the screws back in, plugged in again and it works great. Bottom line, unit is running great now, but I would have expected better manufacturing practices.Bought this to heat up my office above my garage..... In Michigan... In winter...
