    Ideal for Two People Who Have Different Schedules

    We brew two large cups (coffeemaker shows 4.7 cups of water) every morning, the last one is consumed about 90 minutes later. We preheat the flask to ensure that the last cup is warm enough. The paper cone filter is just the right size to keep grounds contained. We don't use the metal filter because some "muck" comes through even with a course grind. This coffeemaker stays clean internally. We have good water (Tyler, Texas) and use Starbucks medium. This is the best tasting of the three makers we've had (Black & Decker, Mr Coffee). We're not "coffee experts".

    So disappointed

    I went by the Manufacturer's name and therefore reputation for this product. I also read the reviews. What I found is this: NOT hot; NOT easy to use and NOT interested. The company I purchased from was very nice and I would gladly do business with them again. It is the coffee maker itself that I was so disappointed.

    My favorite coffee maker, ever!

    This coffee maker is simple to use. It brews quickly, and the finished product is HOT!, the temperature it should be. I owned the Cuisinart maker with the built in bean grinder with the thermal carafe. After reading the reviews regarding users' complaints of the carafe lid not pouring correctly, I couldn't agree more. I hated that thing. I'm very pleased to say that Cuisinart finally redesigned the thermal carafe to pour nicely and easily remove the lid. This coffee maker brews great tasting coffee, better than my other Cuisinart that was twice the price. The built in grinder is a pain requiring cleaning after each use. I LOVE this model much better.

    Best coffee maker ever!

    Love this coffee maker. This replaces an old cuisinart grind and brew. Brews super fast. Love that I can set brew to regular or bold. Carafe keeps coffee warm for at least 6-8 hours. I use filtered room temp water. Works beautifully. Will stay true to cuisinart coffee makers because of high quality design and ease of use.
