    A great device IF YOU DON'T DROP IT

    It is a great device, as good as a desktop yet convenient to go with you. It is fast, efficient and of very high quality. YET it has some bad points as well. The main problem is that it is so easy to drop and when it does the screen gets cracked or worse. It won't bounce, it will break. There is something about it that makes it easy to drop. And the screen will crack, shatter and the touch will be destroyed. Then you will have phantom touches all over the screen until you turn the touch screen off. You will find scads of them on Ebay, all with broken screens and no touch screen. Do I recommend it, YES. The surface is superior to all other tablets. Just don't drop it.

    Love it

    This is my first surface and it will not be my last. It boots in mere seconds and is great for traveling because it weighs only 2lbs. I also added an Android emulator to dual purpose it for all my apps. The only con I have with it is you can't repair it yourself, but you can send it off for repair to Microsoft.

    Good stuff

    I bought it for school and it has not disappointed. The Good: Easy to use Long battery Expandable storage Charges pretty fast Looks expensive and fantastic One note is amazing for students The Bad: Feels very breakable if dropped S pen buttons are slightly awkward to use Running games drains battery quickly Fan is loud when running games Pen falls of the magnetized side far too easy. I would suggest also buying the surface 4 keyboard and a traveling case that has a place to put the pen. In my opinion it is not a device to be used while moving as it is very breakable. Great value for students.

    Great tablet/laptop

    Have 4 of these Surface tablets. Optimum size for me and great performance for my usage. Have not tested battery life. Detachable keyboard was included in this last purchase, but no power brick. 3rd party Power bricks at available for $20
