Not for me
I used it in a car model's hubcaps, Monogram 1941 Lincoln Continental. Nowhere near as good as the black Testors Acrylic wash that I have used in similar fashion, but that doesn't come in red. It takes much longer to dry and doesn't doesn't stay very well in shallow recesses. I had better luck with using a thinned acrylic paint and wiping /rubbing off the excess. Perhaps this is just supposed to be used as a stain on wood, not sure what I can use it on regarding styrene.
