Works wonders!
This product works well for our German Shepherd Dog. Be sure to read the directions. I suspect the results vary depending upon how recently my dog has eaten. We are on our third bag. The calming effect takes time to work. We give them about an hour before going to the Vet or the Groomers....can't imagine life without this supplement.

Calming chews for nervous dogs
My dog is terrified of fireworks and thunder. I was hoping these chews would calm him down. He is an 84 lb. Husky/Shepherd and I gave him the recommended 2 chews for his weight about 45 minutes before the fireworks on the 4th of July. At first I thought he did better but he was soon observed pacing, panting and scratching on the door to get out as usual. I still have hope though. When the thunder occurs in the fall I will up the dose and see if there is any improvement and review this again. My dog is terrified of fireworks and thunder. Medium Large dog composure soft chews
since I have never used these on my dogs before I was skeptical about them working on my anxious weimers who are afraid of rain/thunderstorms... To my amazement, they worked!! he settles down and become completely relaxed. Sure beats the $88.00 the vet charges for anxiety pills for dogs.. thanks so much!!

I think it works so far. I have 2 German shepherd brothers. I pulled extremely hard on the leash and had to be constantly moving. Grant it, they are 2 years old. Vet said he is hyper active, which I agree. This does not by any means sedate him...it just helps him to not go 50 miles an hour all the time.
