    This retrofit kit fixed my original stamped steel valve cover leaks on a older SV735-3031 engine. Kit comes with everything you need to do the repair including heat shields to reduce heat to the lower valve cover. It came with instructions including torque specs and tightening sequence. Shipping was really fast which is a plus. Communication was good with the seller but they recommended the old style stamped kit, however if you are in doubt I can attest that this kit will fit and solve leaks.

    Direct OEM replacement and fast shipping

    The original stamped valve cover was leaking badly. This product is a direct replacement and includes everything needed to swap out both covers. It took more time to scrape off the old RVT than install these. The only problem I had was that I could not get the bolts out for the right side (looking at the back of the mower) heat shield. The problem valve cover is on the left side anyway so I just installed that heat shield. The engine runs great and my shed floor is clean again! The price was the best I could find online and it arrived very quickly.

    Replacement newer design for valve covers and assesory heat shields.

    Better replacement on my kohler sv830 lawn mower engine Poor engine design where muffler pipes are just below vslve covers causing heat to ruin gaskets resulting on oil dripping onto hot pipes These are newer design composite covers. First 2 older with gaskets did not hold up. This caused a fire on right side where a fire broke out just under gas line above cover..
