I bought this movie because Mark Harmon (of NCIS fame) was in it. Apparently it was made when he was much younger and considered a hottie by the younger crowd (Now he's a hottie with the over-forty generation). Harmon plays a pool guy (last name Prince) in Bel Air, California. His character used to be an athlete. Women flock to him, but he is involved only for the fun. When young, beauiful Kristie Alley shows up, Harmon's character is smitten, but it is difficult for him to let go of "the guys," (the group of juvenile men that he runs around with) to explore true love. There's a lot of low-key juvenile sexuality in this movie, as well. The story moves, but not quickly. Most of the fun is in watching Harmon go through mental gymastics trying to grow up enough for the woman he has fallen in love with. This is probably a good summertime movie, most of the scenes take place around pools. It's all a bit silly, but if you are a fan of Harmon or Alley, it is probably worth your time to watch it on a laid-back afternoon or evening. I'd only give it a B, but tastes differ, you might really love it.Read full review
