My favorite Elton John songs.Had it on vinyl but no longer have a turntable to play it on.I bought the CD used in acceptable condition for $5.39.Can't argue with that.

I still have this on vinyl. I had to get the cd version, it's been too long since I've heard one of my alltime favorite songs Razor Face. Tiny Dancer, Levon, you can get these on other albums too. I did hear Razor Face on the radio once, but it hasn't been discovered by the general listening public yet I think. It is prolly just as good as Tiny Dancer and certainly good as Levon. People just don't know it yet. I am a huge Elton John fan, but I skip over the rest of these tracks most of the time. But not every time.I still have this on vinyl. Classic Album!
Most people know this album by the title track and the hits Tiny Dancer and Levon. However, the rest of the album has some real strong songs as well, making for an enjoyable listening experience without hitting the fast forward button!

I believe this is ELTON JOHN ' s premiere recording , a superior collaboration between and amongst Elton John , lyricist BERNIE TAUPIN and conductor PAUL BUCKMASTER . The songs " MadMan Across The Water " , " Levon " and most especially " Tiny Dancer " make this purchase truly worthwhile .

I believe this album has the right amount of mix. As with most EJ Albums a wide variety of song styles are mixed to produce another classic. Although an early work, it will rank among one of his best. I especially liked the Indian Sunset track. It touches on the inhumanity that the US inflicted on the Native Americans. I was surprised the first time I heard it, and it touches me every time I hear it. It's surprising two men from England could relate to the whole tragic happening.I believe this album has the right amount of mix.
