    Power Receptacle Box is Sturdy

    The box is strong with predrilled attachment holes. I used a hammer drill to make holes so I could mount it to a brick wall. There was sufficient room in the box to bend 10 gauge wires to mount the plug into the box. It did take a strong push to get the plug seated. The box is weatherproof and will provide a shield to rain or snow when a power cord is plugged into it.

    Perfect way to safely hook up a portable generator!!

    This is the ideal way to hook up a portable generator to your house. The inlet box allows you to hook and secure the power line to your house without worrying about the cord coming out. The poser inlet box is well built and easy to install.

    No more extension cords

    Finally did it right... with the Reliance 30 Amp Power Inlet Box and the interlock safety slide. I can now plug the generator directly into main breaker panel, decide which circuits I want to run and shut down what I don't want to run. No more extension cords running through the house after losing power during winter storms. I Installed this myself in about 2 hrs. bring on the winter...???

    Needed for hurricane recovery

    The product will end up in St Croix, USVI so that we can connect in our generator. The price was good and as no one ships products to USVI we'll take it in our suitcase. It arrived punctually and was well packaged.
