Useful enough if you're doing a lot of work with low voltage DC items, such as LED's or small motors. Display is easy to read. Coarse adjustment too sensitive, fine adjustment not sensitive enough. Best to adjust before attaching item to leads, as coarse knob can quickly run the voltage too high and possibly damage the subject item.
