I take this with Glucosamin C twice daily. Arthritis has set into my lower back. I think it's from jumping out of perfectly good airplanes in the early 80's (82nd Airborne)... Anyway, I'm to the understanding that Sea Mussel builds back the soft tissues in the joints by permeating the cartilages with the body's water, therefore increasing the distance of the joint surfaces reducing the pinching of the nerves and staving off the grind. Here is what I've done to additionally help the Sea Mussel/Glucosamine combination: Drink lots of seriously good water daily, go for anything anti-oxidant! Try to stay off the coffee as much as possible, stay off any bleached foods, white breads/crackers, pastas, white sugars and go for the whole grain stuff...
