This specific brand was recommended by my daughters physical therapist and pediatric orthopedist to help with Sever's Disease. This is heel pain in the growth plate of children. Squeeze the side of your child's heel. If this increases pain it may well be Sever's. Treatment is Spenco Heel cups. If you can fit two in each shoe do it. They relieve her pain. Awesome product which holds up well in my very athletic daughter
