    Not PETA approved

    Because this product is not cruelty free. They are owned by Loreal who is not cruelty free and there are other companies who have succeeded in making great products without animal testing. I was in a bind at the time of purchase and I could not find a product who is "leaping bunny certified" (peta) and I bought this product because it had salicylic acid as one of the ingredients I use and need.
