I did have a problem with reading the serial number, but it was my DAS' fault. The seller was extremely nice to help. The only problem I have is the fact that the SMART data was wiped. Which means I'll need to do some test, and keep an eye on these drives. The data being to help track of time to replace. I do have it in a mirror to help with failure, but still.

Had no issue setting it up on my media server VM, in place of an aging 5TB, that was filled with porn, I mean movies, tv shows and music! Works like a charm and it's already half full!
