    Great value cable!

    This is the second SureCall "LMR" cable I have owned. I have not cut it open to inspect the internals, but I can tell you that the loss readings and other measurement on my VNA suggest it is doing it's job. I wouldn't use it for any professional jobs where you would want to just roll out the Times Microwave, but for UHF and higher jobs this appears to be a pretty decent low-loss cable. 4G repeaters, digital radio, and other amateur will work just fine.

    Lossy!

    This coax is represented to be equivalent to LMR-400. I put 13.5 watts into it and got 8.5 watts at the other end. I think that translates to nearly 3 db of loss per 100 feet at 144 mHz. That's quite short of the mark.
