Not exactly the best quality surgical tools available, but you can replace them ASAP from a quality hospital supply company. That said, this is still a good buy for the non-medically trained since you now have an idea what to purchase.
If you have surgical training, these are good to have around in times of emergency. If you don't, it is still best to have since it is usually easier to find someone with surgical skills than it is to find surgical tools. Help him help you and others.
