No More Stepping Over
This gate is perfect for keeping our toddler in her room, and keeping the dogs out. It was so easy to install, and is easy to open and close. The safety catch/release is very helpful, as the baby learned quickly how to open the handle, but she's neither strong enough nor adept enough to pull back the safety catch and open the handle at the same time. Perfect for My needs
This works perfectly for confining my puppy. He can see everything but can't get out. It is sturdy and was easily installed without permanent mounting. The gate opening is easy to open and close and sufficiently wide for walk thru. Hopefully I won't need it later on.

Ease of going through doorways
Its more convenient than using a traditional baby/pet unit that you have to take completely down each time you need to use the doorway. I have 2 of these gates to keep my dogs corralled into one room so we can keep a better eye on them. I only wish you have a little larger gate clearance but I still really like it.
