Best retinol around
So I’ve used many high end retinol products to smooth out my skin in the past from deep scars left by hormonol acne in my teen years. That was my first experience with REAL stronger retinol products. I used SkinCeuticals Retinol 1.0. It only took maybe 6 months to completely rid my face of pretty darn deep scaring uneven color, redness ect. I was AMAZED and total sold AND HOOKED on retinol from them on out. If it can get completely rid of deep craters, I’m sure it gets rid of wrinkles and uneven color. It does. So my latest and most favorite along my retinol journey has come to Skin Medica 1.0, this one NEVER DRIES YOUR SKIN OUT. You WILL start to get that PEELING, (WHICH IS WHAT YOU WANT) that is the process of you skin expelling your most superficial layer and speeding up the process to ... They added other ingredients I can’t think of at the top of my head, but they do an awesome job at keeping your skin moisturized during that peeling process. So you won’t get the redness and irritation either. My skin has toughened up so much due to my use of retinol, that I used a very well known at home “Chemical Peel” that did NOTHING! If you can believe it, but just one to two NIGHTS of consecutive use of the Skin Medica Retinol and I always get the peeling done! I’m now 38 and still hear that my skin “looks like porcelain “ from multiple people. Thank you RETINOL!!

I’ve worked in the film, print, TV for over 35 years, bottom line, if the quality of your skin is not good, doesn’t matter the makeup, skill of the artist, cover ups, nor surgeries, it’s all about the quality of your skin. Is this for everyone, no. If you intend to sun, walk away, this is not for you. On the other hand, if you desire small pores, less discoloration, more taunt skin, go for it, you can’t have it both ways. I’m 65 years old, no I’m not my 35 year old beautiful self, but hey, I’m completely satisfied that I’m my best self. When you’re young & effortlessly attractive, it never dawns on you, that you may care how you may look 20,30,40 years later. My skin began to peel within a couple days which is the proper result for this product. You want it to peel. I usually buy this with a prescription but then you also have a doctors office call to pay. It may not work as well as the prescription stuff but at least there are results.
