    Great for Gaming on a FX8350, but...

    This board is GREAT for the FX series chips! I’m currently running an FX8350 at 4.3GHz OC’d and it’s perfectly stable. However, 2 things to consider: - not good for multi-GPU as second slot runs at 4x instead 16 or even 8 :( - VRM’s need to get love. Although it has a beefy heat sink, they still tend to get toasty without some good airflow in the case. Multiple forums have recommended a top-down cooler to help with this. (I’m buying the dark rock TF to help with this) Otherwise no complaints!

    Not the greatest experience I've ever had

    Can't say it was a good value as I had issues getting windows 7 64bit to recognize the lan at all device manager did not see it either... on hot reboot loses the boot device, cool boot no issues... But to beat all ends I got thermal paste on the board in a few different spots... lesson learned, even if it is not working take the time to disassemble with the same caution used to assemble it.

    everything worked

    this motherboard was new old stock and i could tell it had never been used in the fat all the slots were hard as nails and none of the mounting holes had marks on them from being screwed down in a case....works just fine and got my old AMD 555 unlocked to a quad core again!!!....had the same motherboard for 6 years before it died in a lighting storm do to a brown out....when this seller says new he means its never been used even if it does not come in the normal box.....

    Big board. Refurbished but worked fine.

    I am used to using Micro form factor motherboard in my builds. This board allows me to do a lot more with it than I could do with a Micro motherboard.

    Good & Stable

    I also have the similar motherboard, Asus M5A97 R2.0, and have a difficult time telling that one apart from the M5A97. They are both outfittled with an AMD 4.0 GHz 8-Core FX-8350 CPU and Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 X 8GB) DDR3 1600 MHZ (PC3 12800) DIMMs. Performance is about the same, very fast and stable.
