    Perfect Weatherproof Outlet for Indoors and Outside w/Remote

    Philips Remote Controlled Outlet is perfect for indoors and out. Has two outlets so can power more appliances. Perfect for switches that may be hard to get to, but can be turned on and off with tihs remote. Great for outdoor lights when you want to stay indoors for warmth or safety and an awesome gadget for seniors to turn appliances on and off from the comfort of their bed or chair. Also great when you have a timer hooked up and want to turn it on or off. Thick coating seems to make it very safe in weather.

    Works great as a solo unit but not with multiple units

    I purchased two of them expecting i could use one foe a string of outside lights and the other for a fountain with lights. Once installed I found that they operate on the same frequency for the remote control so i cannot use them separately and each time Hit the on button both the light strand and the fountain come on. I contacted the 800 number on the package and found that the remotes are not programable so there is no way to separate the switches to be used individually. If I had purchased 1 I would have given it 5 stars. I like this product, just wish it could be used independently.

    Great idea - works well.

    Good idea - Ive only had it a short time, but I like the way it works. Works better than other brands. if you have an area that has an outlet, but no light switch, this is perfect. I have an old pioneer receiver from before remote control. I like being to turn it off and on with it.

    GREAT Product

    Reputable company. I replaced a no-name brand one similar to this because it quit working after only 2 years. It wasn't the battery either; apparently the unit was made cheap. I already had a Phillips brand for over 6 years and it is still working so that's why I purchased another Phillips.

    Turning Outside Lights On/Off with ease

    Was looking for a remote so I could turn my outside Christmas lights on with ease. Found this. Great price and with 2 outlets, just what i needed.
