The guitar is constructed with a solid Spruce top, Nato back and sides, and a Rosewood fretboard and bridge. We have evaluated each guitar for playability and each sounds great. Cosmetically, we call this a "C grade" guitar. There are scratches, rubs and minor dings. There may be a piece of tape on the back of the headstock. The necks are straight and no parts are missing. This guitar is five hundred new. Get yours "pre-loved" by a soldier for cheap. Photos are representative of the guitar you will receive.”

I have had a g231 for years and I wanted a g231 11 because the top has a different sound they are both great guitars Yamaha put this out around 1970 0r 1980
