  • XFX ATI Radeon HD 5450 Video Adapter - Great Buy

I purchased the HD5450 to replace the onboard Intel graphics processor in my Dell Dimensions 4700. I was skeptical about upgrading the graphics in this PC due to the conflicts that inevitably arise when you are mixing and matching adpaters that include all-in-one chipsets. My fears were unfounded as the HD5450 was immediately recognized by the BIOS with an offer to continue using the onboard graphics or the use the HD5450. After answering 'yes' to the prompt, Window 7 installed a Microsoft driver that worked well. The only notification that I received from Win 7 after the driver was installed was that it was a successful installation. After the 4700 was fully booted, I inserted the ATI driver CD, answered the typical installation questions and like magic, the new driver was ...

  • Boycott Fee-bay

The card was great. However e-bay has become fee bay did you know that e-bay fees are now up to about 33% ?! We sold on fee-bay for years at about 12% and gradually the greed inched us up to 33%. NO MORE WE have QUIT selling and buying on E-bay. e-Bay makes about $100 million a day and even that is not enough for meg and her friends. Stop the corporate greed by droping e-bay there are many other ways and places to sell.

  • Good cheep card, best in price range.

I have one of these already, it's an awsome card, runs very cool, although the HIS one seems a little cooler. Performance is good for the power consumption.

  • Great product backed with NO customer service; reserved for the geeks

As far as I can tell this thing was a paper weight, didn't contain any install cd and the XFX customer service is non-existant. If you're not tech savvy don't waste your time, the drivers don't work and I'm only running Xp 32 bit.
