The screw on my post was poorly made. It thread into the backrest all the way, but it got stuck when I tried to remove it. Although I used every extraction tool I owned, eventually I had to drill out the seat material around it so I could get a pair of pliers around the screw. I re-tapped the hole in the post and used a new screw, but now I have a crater in the back of my very expensive seat. Lesson learned: make sure the screw goes in and out of the post smoothly BEFORE you install the backrest, and if you have any doubts about the quality of the screw, get a new one.

I used to strap a bag to the rear of the bike and use the bag as a backrest, not anymore, this Corbin backrest is great. It's comfortable, adjustable to different angles, and it looks great.

I really like this back rest. It curves to contour to the back both horizontally and vertically. Fairly easy to adjust but you do have to pull over to adjust. However adjusting on the go with other backrests was always difficult and dangerous. Corbin really does a good job. Only wish it came with a few different size screws for the forward and after adjustments. Still easy to install and you can pick up extra screws at your local hardware store.

I was expecting it later but got home today and it was there. Quality is what was explained. A+
