    Super Sound - Great Value Microphone !

    I am very pleased with the build quality and performance of my Takstar CM-60 microphone. This product represents a tremendous value, punching far above its weight class. Wide range, even tempered and equal sensitivity across the entire useful frequency range. Clear, articulate and full sound reproduction. Not a problem but not quite as high output signal level (-38cB) compared to larger condenser capsules (typically -32 or -34 dB) -- close enough to play well with other microphones with slight gain variation on a mixer. While I use this mic for speech, most recordists use it to record instruments - works well in either case. I know professional studio recording engineers who use and recommend this microphone. Solid performance for a very low price. Just MY take ... your mileage ...
