    not a new but original. Wrinkles on the battery cell body and sticker residue on the back. Clearly battery removed from old S8. Barely lasts maybe 24hrs with all services disabled. I use it as a smarthome devices remote so it is mostly on the charger. But look into other sellers is You want new lasting battery.

    Works well, too cold to work on its own.

    The battery is in good shape when shipped, and the product does work when plugged in while charging. The problem is that the phone is too cold to charge and stay running on its own. Not sure if it's the battery that is too cold or the phone that is unable to run in operational temperature to charge the battery. Nevertheless, the product is in good conditions.

    New but not recent

    I got this to try and revitalize my Galaxy S8, that I got in 2017 and is still working but whose battery life has degraded to the point that it only lasts about a day on light to moderate use. This product is a legit S8 battery, and it will work. BUT I was hoping for an S8-compatible battery manufactured in maybe 2021 that would perform comparably to a new OEM battery. What you'll get is an actual OEM battery made around 2017. That means it's an old battery that's degraded to the point that it's not much better performance-wise in 2022 than the one you're trying to replace. It does indeed look new as in "not used before", but not new as in "recently manufactured". If you are trying to extend the life of your S8, don't get this, take a gamble instead on some of the other batteries listed ...

    Deteriorated battery, waste of money

    Very fast delivery, but the product isn't what is expected at all! Battery quality is very poor, the guy that has changed it told the battery was very old, and he doubted very much that it is original-genuine. However, after couple of days using it I noted that the battery was working the same as my old one which was deteriorated. Immediately my Samsung phone showed that battery has failures and is deteriorated. So, don't buy it if you don't want wasting your money. Pay attention that original batteries have the mark of "Made in Vietnam" not in China, Malaysia etc.

    Not a brand new battery

    This "new" battery was actually removed from a store display phone, so technically it is a used battery. It works okay so far (about 2 weeks), but doesn't hold charge for as long as a brand new battery.
