    Orion Cobalt 2500.1d monoblock amp

    Amp performed well even though it did about 1/2 the power advertised. Pushed my Sundown E12v3’s decently until a banana plug slipped out of the binding post and shorted on the other lead. Amp went into protect and wouldn’t work again. This amp is not comparable to the XTR2500.1dz, which is a much stronger and better made amp. If you need true 2500 watts rms go with the XTR or something like the Sundown SFB3000.1d. You won’t regret it.

    Perfect amp for the boat. puts the power needed right to the soul! wire connections require very small screwdriver that is specialty philips size. hole is small screw is number 1 so little tricky but all else is perfect!
