I really wanted the unique colored porcelain door knob, but the plate turned out to be the winner. Under a scum of old lacquer is a beautiful piece of silver plate. The embossing is clean and crisp with no wear. The center is a little worn through...since my color scheme is brown ,buckskin and copper I think it is perfect. THANKS! Shipping speed and price were great.
