    Somewhat predictable, worth seeing once.

    Morgan Freeman is one of my favorite actors, and he didn't disappoint. I like Diane Keaton, too, and to be fair, she played her roll well, but I found her character to be somewhat annoying, after a while. The plot is about a couple who live "five flights up" in an apartment building with no elevator. The neighborhood has changed over the 40 years that they've lived there, but everyone knows each other, and they are comfortable there. Since they are aging, Ruth feels the need to be proactive and move to a different place that has an elevator, and sell the apartment that they own. Somewhat predictably, in the end, they decide to stay in their old place for as long as they can. Various things, notably their dog's ruptured disk, surgery, and recuperation, add interest to the plot. There ...

    The title says it all

    This is a lovely story and is most appreciated by viewers in the 70-80 age range. It's easy to relate to what the couple is going through as the aging process continues in life. Even Dorothy, their dog, is feeling her years.

    Just not enough to the Movie

    It was just OK thought it could have been good. expect more from Diann Keaton and Morgan Freeman both actors I like allot The best character in the movie was the Real Estate Lady .

    Warm and loving

    I was in the hospital when I watched this movie. I loved it so much, I watched it two more times. It's so awsome to see couples who truely love each other and get along so completely. It left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.
