I'm a beginner at RC car maintenance/upgrades, so changing the original shafts out for these required some disassembly to get at the screws holding the small U joints to each end. I found that taking the tires off helped a lot. On the front shaft, the end that attaches to the transmission really took some patience. If your child wants the truck and you're new to the game like me, knowing this may help you. For experienced users and modifiers, I suppose you know what you're getting into and you will appreciate the solid feel and tougher build of these shafts.

You Should buy the aluminum upgraded shafts. These broke a half hour after using them.
