Definitely worth the money, very loud, very clear sound!!
I recently bought these to build some custom 3-way speakers. I used some 1000w rms crossovers that were bought here on ebay and a rockville powered amplifier that can push 1400w rms at 4-ohm, to run 2 boxes that have 160w rms 4-ohm mids, and 60w rms 4-ohm super tweeters as well as these awesome 450w rms woofers, and I have to say that these speakers push out so much sound. I can't even be very close to the speakers because it is too much for my ears to handle when pushed close to their max. I have to go back about 30 feet to be able to bear the sound coming out of these speakers. The bass is actually very good. I still use powered subwoofers to bring the full sound of the deep bass, but these really do push a bunch of very crisp very punchy sound and no distortion at all. The vocals and ... I wanted to build something very close to the qsc k12.2 speakers, and I believe these are actually a little bit louder and better sounding than those speakers.
