    A not to be missed film

    I first saw this film when it was released,many years ago. It is a fabulous mix of thought provoking tears,laughter and will hit right to the heart of many normal ,middle aged women,just like me,but will also provide a great in site for all the men in the world,who fail to appreciate exactly what they have until it's almost too late. The sence of acceptance,belonging and real love and compassion for others is at the heart of this 5 star film,a must see for anyone and everyone.

    One of my favourite films

    This is a film that will stay with you for years. I've watched it twice before and when I saw one of the main characters appear in a TV show, it made me want to watch it again and this time I'll share it with my daughter's who'll love it. I think I got myself a good bargain. Fast postage too.

    Memory lane

    Watched this movie years ago & wanted to watch it again & it was just as good as I remembered. Katy Bates character is my favourite as a buttoned down menopausal housewife who befriends an older woman in a carehome who tells her stories from the past.

    I had read the book recently so decided to buy the DVD. it was a long time since i saw the film. The dvd did not give as much content as the book but it was very entertaining and I'd recommend it.
