About this product

Product Information

Game Party is a collection of mini-games, in the vein of Wii Sports, though instead of playing tennis or tossing baseballs, players get a chance to try out familiar social-games that are more likely to appear in bars or arcades. Using the Wii Remote players can mimic the hand motions of seven games, including: Air Hockey, Darts, Hoop Shot (basketball), Ping Cup (alcohol free beer-pong), Shuffleboard, Skill Ball (skii ball), and a Trivia game that involves spinning a wheel. Playing each game results in the accrual of "tickets" which can then be used to unlock more than 100 playable characters.

  • Decent Value For The Price

Darts - once you get the hang of it, which doesn't really take that long, it's fun. Especially nice is the fact that up to four players can compete in this game at once. Custom darts/boards are unlockable. Hoop Shoot - this can get tiring, but is fun for quick competitions between friends. Getting the ball to stay straight can be a little bit of a challenge at times. Skill Ball - aka Skee ball - is fun. The controls are pretty much the same as Wii bowling, and the only thing you need to watch out for is throwing too hard. Also, this only has a one player mode, but you can easily just select "play again" at the end and pass the remote to a friend. Shuffleboard - this is not what you're thinking. This is the tabletop version. Controlling the direction that the puck goes in can be a bit ...

  • Fun Game for All

This is a party game...Get a bunch of friends together and play all night long. Brought me back to the old arcade days where I spent most of my Mom's money trying to win tickets for the coolest plastic doo-hickey they had under the glass. The game has 7 games on it: Skill Ball (my Fav), Hoops Shoot, Shuffle Board, Pong Ball (which is beer pong), Air hockey (which is a little difficult), Trivia, and Darts (which is a blast). This game is a good bargain and if you use the Wii for multi- player mostly this is a great addition.

  • Good Party... for the family?

Game Party..! This is actually a fun game once you figure out a few nicks. A good party usually is one where there are multiple players involved, right? That is the biggest limitation out of two we found for this game which, although its advertising pitch states is fun for the entire family, some of the games are limited to ONE user at a time, and by that I mean that a player must select a character, play the whole game turn, finish and THEN another user may repeat the cycle to play the same game. So unlike Wii Sports, Wii Play, etc., staggered game play is not an option where you would expect or wish for it. That's not fun! The other flaw is the controls. More often than desired, the controls seem to be missing calibration, making a simple move either innacurate or you may have to swing ...

  • Game Party

This is a fun game for all ages,I like how more characters are added as more points are made.Everything is easy to understand. My husband and I especially like the darts and the shuffleboard!Nothing wrong with a little competition!! Everyone who visits wants to play "the Wii" !!and this is our favorite game by far. we also have other games but some are too intricate that take a lot of time to play, like Harry Potter. but Game party..you just pop it in and all can play. Fun and enjoyable!!
