  • Fine router

Not as grunty as a Cisco 887, but it'll save your sanity with no fan, and the good news it's a good one for NBN with the GigE WAN, so it's future proof. The current Cisco 887 only has FastE ports. The only issue I ran into is that I had PPPoEoATM DSL and the fragmented packets caused it to lock up. Change that to PPPoATM DSL with 1500 bytes MTU and you should be fine. On the GigE WAN link you should also be fine. It's most likely a rare Cisco bug that you should be able to avoid. Cheers, Gav
