Second in a dual disc set, Konami Classics Vol. 2 features three classic Konami games, converted for play on Xbox 360. A hit in arcades and a sensation on Nintendo Entertainment System, Contra pits one or two players against alien invaders in platform shooter action. Originally released in 1988, Rush 'N Attack provides more mercenary action-adventure for NES fans. Players can also flex their fingers with the arcade's original button-masher, Track & Field, which first appeared in 1983. All three games can be played as exact emulations of the original versions, or in a graphically enhanced 720p mode. The disc's release is accompanied by Volume 1, which includes emulations of the Frogger, Super Contra, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

The disc was unfortunately cracked in half in transit (as Canada Post tends to handle packages like this very roughly), but the seller promptly issued a refund alongside discussing better shipping options for future purchases. The price was definitely right for this game, but I'd highly recommend other buyers opt for the 25 cent bubble mailer shipping upgrade!

Only 3 titles on a disc????
This is a great game, and by no means am i putting it down. These are 3 of the best games Konami has come out with. Being an old-school gamer, these games bring back some good memories. But, come on Konami, get with the times. Just about EVERY compilation disc from other manufacturers (Midway arcade treasures, Atari anthology, etc., for example) have 20, 30 games or more on them. I KNOW that Konami has tons more classics in thier vault. Let's just hope they don't keep releasing them only 3 at a time....This is a great game, and by no means am i putting it down. Old School Games (part 2) - Rush N' Attack!
Good game compilation, but don't pay a whole lot for it unless you're really after one of the few vintage titles on this disc. Comes with Contra (good), Rush N' Attack (great!), and Track & Field (huh?) - again, just like Volume 1 of this offering, its an admittedly very odd trio of games, 2 shooters and Track & Field?!?). More than likely, you're after at least one of the titles, and the rest are bonuses really. Considering there are two volumes to this, it's a bit odd they put Super Contra on the 1st one, and Contra on the 2nd one. (???) Game play is just fine for all, no complaints there really (the only caveat to that is nothing really beats an original dedicated upright when it comes to playing Track & Field... you just can't hit the buttons as fast on any home console). I'd put this in a $10-$15 optimal cost range. Pay any more, and you might want to put your money somewhere else (again, unless you are a die-hard for any of the three titles, then - have at it, what are you waiting for?). = )

Some of the Greatest Classic games brought back by Konami.
Promptly received from seller. This game has several of the old school games that are now playable on the Xbox 360, it's been fun for the whole family to be introduced to some classic games.
