Its as close to the Original Product as you can get. Although it may not be the exact same material (Slightly cheaper Quality) it will serve its purpose well.

E46 2 DIN kit
This is one of two kits made that eliminate the need to hack up your heater box. Just to put this out there, this kit suits left hand drive cars only as the lower portion differs in shape depending on what car you have. Otherwise the instructions are excellent, the quality of the mouldings are great. Recommended for those in the Americas and Europe and China. Not so good for Australia, UK, Japan

Looks and works great.
I had my dash kit installed as part of my new setup by a professional installer. Honestly, it seemed a little cheap to me at first, but it looks and works great. Very solid. Even my install guys said it was one of the better dash kits they've seen, and they have been doing installs since 1975. I was concerned about the hole where the cigarette lighter socket goes but my guys mounted the USB connection there and it's much cleaner now without using an adapter to charge phones.I had my dash kit installed as part of my new setup by a professional installer.
