    Awesome Rice Cooker!

    Bought this as a gift for my mother. It's fantastic. It's compact, easy to use and makes great rice every time. It's also very easy to clean. The ability to preset your food to cook hours ahead of time is also a great feature. I will probably be buying one of these for myself.

    Like the features, but time will tell if I can find the right rice brand.

    Works as advertised, but have only used it twice. Rice not as I expected, came out soft & mushy, will keep trying with different brands of rice, might have better results.

    Small and Efficient

    This rice cooker is very small and very effective at what it does. Heats up and cooks rice fast and easy to store. I am a bit concerned on its durability and longevity. There's extensive use of lightweight plastic for the lid and that's what I am mostly concerned with. There is a bit of play at the lid/hinge so the latch on the lid and the locking slot does not align well. You have to guide the lid down and close it with firm pressure. Just an observation to note that the future of small appliances is extensive use of cheap plastics and with larger gaps. So far though, it's is a great little rice cooker. I would also like to comment that in comparison to the larger 12Cup that I also purchased, the price for this one may be a bit high but that's just my opinion.

    Simple and easy to use.

    I have been using this Aroma Cooker to make soup and it works like a charm. I haven't tried for rice yet, but I have high expectations. Make sure you use the level guidelines as overfilling with liquid will ooze out from the top. Overall, an easy, simple and convenient use. Cleaning is a breeze and I also like that you can keep the food warm. This particular one is small, so excellent for a couple of people. If there are leftovers, I simply transfer the inside bowl to the refrigerator. I use a small lid from another pot and there. you have food for another day. There are larger models for a larger family. I highly recommend this for up to a couple of people.

    Good day, It got great reviews so I bought it, it is not as simple as a rice steamer, it is more like a crock pot/steamer with a solid metal bowl instead of a slatted steamer. I scorched mine the first two times I used it, and the rice was not cooked properly either time. However if you use it to cook a more mixed meal and open it often to stir it scorches less. Cleaning is a horror, it has what appears to be a Teflon coating. So only a soft sponge can be used, which means lots of soaking and wiping. Ours also arrived in a damaged INNER box, meaning it was damaged BEFORE packaging. Our inner bowl has an off sided circular mark from the damage no doubt as well as two small dings like a pen tip. I fully expect that the Teflon like coating will peel from at least the larger of these pin ...
