HO gauge train/trolley replacement motor
Not an exact replacement motor, but close enough to make the retrofit very easy. The motor size is slightly smaller that the original, and speed is right. The motor brought my HO gauge trolley back to life. The fit is so good that I ordered a second motor for another application. Shipping on the first motor was good. Not so on the second motor. Five days past delivery date estimate, and still waiting. USPS can't tell me where it is, or when it will be delivered.Not an exact replacement motor, but close enough to make the retrofit very easy. Great little motor for the price.
Great little motor for small and medium size steam engines ( 0-8-0 to 2-8-2 ). With it's low RPM I would not recomend it for passenger engines but for freight and switch engines it's ideal. I add a flywheel which greatly improves performance.

Probably not the best for my applicaton
The motor is as expected technically, but the only mounting holes are on the end adjacent to the shaft. For model railroading application I will have to fabricate a mounting plate bent back under the motor which can be screwed to the frame.
