    Good buy on a small vise.

    The first thing to do with this vise is disassemble it and burr all the edges with a file, then use a sharpening stone to flatten the sliding areas. Then put it back together and lightly oil the sliding surfaces and the lead screw. Then it works perfectly. I plan to buy the 3 inch vise as well for the smaller jobs I do.

    It's O.K. for the money

    For the price it works. I found a good cleaning helped but the hardened jaws are not square with the bed of the vise which is disappointing as the rest of the vise seems to be pretty accurate.
