The drawers are large enough to hold 4 dove chocolate candies so it's perfect for a family of 4 or a family with 4 children! there is a tiny bit of splintering along the bottom of wood drawers, but its really the nature of the wood used. The knobs on the drawers are very tiny, small children may need assistance. I love that it can be closed up and put away to save for next year!
