    Just what I needed

    To add an SSD to my PC and still keep my 2tb HD, I needed another power source. I purchased this power cable splitter to solve the problem. It did just fine. The quality of the cable is really good and it fits and works perfectly in my PC which makes it a tremendous value. Very satisfied

    The splitter appears to be of good quality. The connectors fit securely and the wire gauge seems to be the same as the connectors that came with my motherboard.

    Needs some minor modification.

    The end that is adjacent to the SATA data cable needs to be filed about 1mm to make it fit correctly. It is made of softer plastic so it takes less than a minute to do (I just scrapped it a few times against a concrete floor and it worked great).
