    Fine cross section of David Rose recording legacy

    excellent cross section of the music spanning the career of David Rose. My only minor criticism is the shortened length of the CD containing only 12 tracks. Certainly with the wealth of recordings David Rose made over the years and with the CD timing capability, there should have been a more generous amount of music on the CD. It's possible that it had to do with licensing restrictions. Liner notes were very good and in the tradition of Taragon recordings, it is highly recommendable. I'm only sorry that no new recordings from this label have surfaced in the last 2-3 years.

    Great Find

    I was looking for an obscure, lesser known piece by David Rose and his orchestra that was written for the movie "Forbidden Planet." The piece had been adopted as theme music for a new radio program I enjoy. I new the piece was on this CD release. I wanted it for my music library. This CD is in perfect condition. I couldn't be happier.
