Neo TV WIFI from Netgear
Seems to work okay so far( in a month). Two times it froze up and I had to turn it off and back on for it to work. Sometimes on Netflix it will stream part of the movie and then stop in the middle of the movie and hang up while trying to reacquire the second half of the movie. I don't know if this is cause by netflix or the Neo TV?

Why pay over $100 a month for cable TV when Netflix is $8 a month? All you need is a streaming media box like the Netgear NeoTV 200 and a whole new world of on-demand viewing can be yours. Made by a leader in network hardware, this device features easy setup and rock-solid performance. Network connection can be made either with a CAT5 Ethernet cable or WiFi. Physical connection to a TV set is made only by HDMI. While this enables full 1080p resolution, owners of older TV sets are out of luck. Unlike the industry leading Roku, the NeoTV includes only a small selection of preset channels. It does not allow users to add channels manually While this may seem to be a shortcoming, it is also an advantage in that one need not set up a user account with Netgear, nor post a credit card ... i bought this product thinking i would have "on demand" access to a large quantity of films and tv shows, rather than waiting for their delivery through the mail. i found Netflix offers virtually nothing was available through streaming, and tv shows, movies, etc available thru locations like hulu plus were very limited. I rarely use the unit and it sits there collecting dust. the unit itself does what it claims, with small burps in connectivity to my router and tv. plus although i have a quite fast internet speed, i sometimes have buffering waits. Use for streaming internet TV using your existing wired or wireless network
This is a great wireless digital streaming device for the price. Applications like Netflix and other movie streaming sites require you to at least sign up and put a credit card on file or join up. I have not looked at everything available, there is a lot to look at. I had no problem installing the box. It is about 4"x4"x1" and just needs it's power supply and an HDMI cable. Since my TV has only three HDMI ports, I am using a HDMI hub. I have four digital DVR' and one analog DVR. I am looking into using my PC to record and playback TV shows, but until then, the NetGear NeoTV 200 is my newest and brightest toy.This is a great wireless digital streaming device for the price. This item is really cool. Easy to setup. Alot of programs to check out!!! You need the internet to be able to connect to it. If you love movies like we do, Netflix is great. Netflix allows you to check out and watch TV and Numerous movies of your choice. There are all kinds of documentaries and Sci-Fi programs. It allows you to put your favorite programs and movies into a separate file that you can bring up when you want to. The netgear box is small and can easily be put just about anywhere which is very good for someone who does not have alot of excess room to put items.This item is really cool. Easy to setup.
