    Works very well!

    It has worked very well for me so far. I am using this bowl for my backyard chickens during the winter months. The bowl is placed in the middle of my backyard in an open space, and it keeps the water from freezing. This bowl has been a wonderful time saver since I previously had to break the ice, empty the bowl, and replace with warm water 2 to 3 times during the day earlier this winter.

    Not really my style; but my cats really appreciate it!

    Well, I not gonna sugar coat my answer! I haven't actually had the chance to drink out've the heated "CAT & KITTEN" bowl as of yet; but it seems to be working like a champ here in NC! As a matter of fact, we've had some low F°teens to mid F°twenties this year so far. I really hope that anyone that reads this has a good since of humor!     Heated dog water dish that two feral cats found to be a lifesaver.

    Christmas was upon us and the outside temperature was plummeting. The cats' water dish was frozen within an hour of replenishment. We were going to be out of town for the Holidays so when I saw this heated bowl that held three quarts of water advertised, I knew this was how the frozen water problem could be solved. Within two days of our being gone, the bowl was received. So I plugged it in at an outlet on our deck, filled it with water, and the next morning I saw one of the cats sipping the water contentedly although the old water dish was still frozen solid. This heated dish still had a couple of inches of warm water left when we got home three days later. I would gladly purchase another should the need arise. D. A. Schroeder

    I had my doubts--but no longer!

    I live in Colorado, where temps vary from like today, 50 degrees, to this weekend, predicted 0. I wanted my outdoor bunnies to have unfrozen water all the time, but none of the other methods I've tried worked. This bowl does it! I like that it doesn't heat the water ALL the time (so doesn't waste electricity), but when the outside temp approaches 32 (freezing), it kicks into gear--and so far the water hasn't frozen at all--not even just the top surface!

    heated dog bowl

    Love this bowl....I have 2 Springer Spaniels and they make such a mess at the water bowl, so I keep the water on my porch. Living in Ohio the water freezes in the winter . Not anymore. This bowl is such a nice size and keeps water always ready for drinking....Thank you
