    Upgrade processor for laptop

    The processor let me do an upgrade on a laptop with a low end single core processor. The Dell Inspiron laptop does work faster now, but the process for disassembling the laptop is quite involved and in-spite of videos on Youtube isn't as easy as it made to appear.

    AMD Turion 64x2 Great Product

    Item was use to upgrade my laptop. It works good but my laptop's bios needs to be flashed. Unfortunately, the bios upgrade is not available. AMD Turion is a fast processor and can be used with Ubuntu.

    cheap processor upgrade

    I recently purchased an Acer Aspire AS5517-5671 for a client from Newegg. The laptop cost $350 and came with the AMD Athlon 64 TF-20(1.60GHz) single core processor. Aside from the processor the Aspire is a very solid laptop. At $15.99 compared to $150 for a new one, the used AMD Turion 64 X2 mobile technology TL-50 is a steal. My only complaint is that the pins on the cpu were a little bit bent from the way it was packaged. I would just recommend playing the processor in something that would protect the pins better.

    Excellent Processor

    It has excellent reveiews, the price is right and really hight quality product. I will buy this cpu again when the time comes.
