Light weight but about average of what's available.
Actually, "do I recommend it?" One of several options of similar quality. So Yeah, more or less. "A good value" seems about average so actually an average value. " Good Quality?" Well pretty good, pretty light weight metal, not near as sturdy as the one being replaced (rusted out after 20 years or so).

Waste of Money
Initially I was very impressed. It's a nice looking water can and the spout is even and consistent, but after using it three or four times it's begun to leak terribly and has proven to be a complete waste of money for anything other than yard art.
