  • Great reading for 1st-2nd graders

Ivy and Bean are two 2nd grade girls which are also neighbors. The story is about their day to day life, so everyone can relate to it, but it also involve their extensive imagination. Nothing is too intense or sad. A very lighthearted book and entertaining. We also read Junie B. Jones, and it seems that Ivy and Bean are more intelligent. Comparing to the Clarice Bean series I would say that Ivy and Bean are more lighthearted. Certainly deserves a place on the shelf.

  • Great book!

I am sure girls in my classroom will enjoy it!
