    Doesn't fit right, but still does the job

    Product arrived without any instructions, which seems simple enough for a luggage rack, right? The only issue is this rack is supposed to be a direct bolt on for my '09 FXDC, but the license plate mount doesn't match to what I've got to work with. I ended up removing the top retainer for the license plate, sliding the luggage rack between the two posts, and reinstalling. This means the rear of the rack is only resting on the rear fender, not secured. It just doesn't match up. Maybe I installed it wrong, but it's hard to tell without instructions! That said: it looks sharp if you don't notice it isn't secured in back. I just got back from a week-long cross-country trip with a 50 pound bag on top of the rack and it didn't give us any issues.     Nice Powder Coating

    This rack is well made and the powder coating is good. I have a 2106 HD Low Rider that I bought the rack for. I think the rack is designed to fit an assortment of bikes. I say this because it took some finessing to get this thing to fit. It doesn't fit exactly to the bike. Some bending of the licenses plate bracket had to be done but not a lot of bending. Looks good on the bike though and is solid once attached.
