It worked. I had a filter housing that had beer over tighten and another filter wrench stripped out, but this one held. I believe that it is an aluminum alloy - not steel. The important thing is that it did the job.

Title and Images state that this filter tool is "Heavy Duty Steel Oil Filter Cap Wrench," but the fine print description states aluminum alloy. This is definitely aluminum. However, It will serve the purpose for what it is intended as the filter cover on my car is plastic. Internal dimensions are 64mm as stated and seems a decent cast. Had the ad been identified fully as aluminum I would have been fine leaving a positive review.
