    Motorola ROKR E8

    The box that it came in is a work of art. The manual it came with was about 90% another language, so you are stuck with pictures in most cases, but that isn't much of an issue if you're phone-savvy. (This phone came unlocked, not T-mobile locked, so it had to come from another country). The charger plugs into a euro wall socket, and it's USB-micro on the phone end, so it won't work with your USB-mini chargers. That's an easy fix, though, and if you don't have an adapter or a U.S. charger yet, you can start charging it from your computer with the included USB cable for USB-micro devices. This phone was absolutley brand new and all the wrappers were still on everything. The back of the battery case has the T-mobile name and logo, but it is indeed unlocked.     Motorola MOTOROKR E8 (Unlocked)

    I bought this phone because my RAZR had seen better days and I'm not too keen on anything T-Mobile is offering right now. I took a chance and bought this unlocked ROKR because I love the look of it and it'll do what I need: calling, texting, picture messages. The phone I received must've been from Europe because the default time zone is London. Also, some of the words are spelled in the "classic" English such as colour and customisation, instead of color and customization. It also came with the euro-style wall plug-in charger, but included an adaptor for the American outlets. Either way, it's pretty easy to figure that stuff out and it didn't slow me down at all. Just kinda weird to see. Anywho, put my T-Mobile SIM card in it and got going. Calls worked fine, texts worked fine, ...

    A new motostyle

    I brought a MotoRokr E8 about two weeks ago and this phone really sorprise me. It have a lot of features, good price and an overall good performace. Is a linux based firmware, is a little heavy for this phone, so you have to get at least some patiente. The battery's life is really good, with full use, it takes around one day and a half. If you doesn't are a enthusiastic user, this phone can be used by two days and a half without any charge. Is great that the phone charges over USB cable. The camera is normal, and the only that I cannot get is a zoom. But that's not my interest. The price is the best, It is around $130, really nice for a phone with good cualities that this.     ROKR E8

    I enjoyed my E2 so much that I wanted to keep with the same brand. However, there were minor changes with this one that makes me miss the E2. One big difference is when you are on camera mode there is no easy way to switch to video mode like in the E2. On the E2, the memory card storage was on the side for easy removal and inserting of the memory card. On the E8, you must take the back off to remove and insert the memory card. E2 had flash, E8 doesnt. Like I said its the small things, but I had my E2 over 3 years and had gotten use to it. E2 had voice recognition, it didnt always work but E8 doesnt have it. I do like the slimmer design and the camera button. I was hoping for more of the same of the E2 and the E8 just didnt do it. Its almost a step back on accessibility of many of ...
